Premium Wiring Kit for Gibson SG

This premium wiring kit makes it easy to order the necessary components for wiring your SG® or similar thin-solid-body 4-control/2-pickup guitar with a 3-way switch. The kit includes a wiring diagram and features trusted components that have been used for decades in Gibson® and other iconic American instruments, such as the Switchcraft toggle switch and jack, CTS potentiometers, Orange Drop capacitors, and cloth-covered push-back wire.

It's important to ensure that your control knobs will fit properly. The CTS pots in this kit have fine-knurled (24-spline) split shafts, so coarse-knurled knobs for imported Alpha pots won't fit.

The kit includes the following specifications for the components:

CTS control pot specifications: - Shaft diameter: 0.235" (5.95mm) split shaft, fine knurling - Thread: 3/8" x 32 - Thread height: 3/8" (9.52mm) - Required mounting hole diameter: 3/8" (9.52mm)

Switchcraft 3-way right-angle switch specifications: - Switch length: 2" (50.80mm) - Body cavity depth required: 13/16" (20.64mm) - Mounting hole diameter: 1/2" (12.70mm) - Thread height: 3/16" (4.76mm) - NOTE: Requires at least 1-3/4" (44.45mm) from the center of the mounting hole to the edge of the control cavity for wiring clearance
