The iconic Gibson electric guitar is honored in this miniature replica model. Regardless of the fact that the '64 SG Standard was famously played by George Harrison and Eric Clapton, that particular model year stood out for SGs in general. The clunky side-pull vibrato had been replaced by the dependable Maestro Vibrola, and the neck profiles had increased in size, resembling the profile found on 1959 Les Pauls. The balance, playability, and overall look of the SG seemed to come into its own during this time. For these reasons and many more, we decided to create a handcrafted model after this iconic instrument.

Now, we are recreating the same high level of Gibson craft and quality in each miniature. Officially licensed as the Gibson 1964 SG Standard Cherry Mini Guitar Model, each Axe Heaven miniature replica guitar is 1:4 scale and is individually handcrafted from solid wood, with metal tuning keys. Each guitar model is approximately 10" in length and comes complete with a high-quality miniature adjustable A-frame stand and a gold foil stamped Gibson by Axe Heaven guitar case gift box.
